Father John Joseph has was a friend of rosary-making.com for some years
and became well known to many Rosary Makers in the UK. Tamil Nardu area of
India where Christians are a minority. In the area, here have been some
examples of religious discrimination. Many Christians are of the former
"untouchables" caste. They have little and are not part of any Indian
economic boom.To support the Faith and Spirituality of the people.

Father;
I am a diocesan priest in the
diocese of Salem, Tamilnadu, southern side of India. A priest of 13 years had
been appointed so far in 3 parishes as parish priest. Now my designation is the
diocesan secretary for 6 TNBC commissions for the diocese of Salem,
namely Commission for Basic Christian Community, Family commission, Bible
commission, Laity commission, Liturgy commission and Christian right movement.
I have to visit all 60 parishes almost everyday and gather people for BCC. A
volunteer group consisting of 15 members help me in this process on a
rotation basis. Whenever we go to the parishes people expect from us to do
something since our diocese consists of many poor people. Sure that we are
unable to dispense their financial expectation we are giving them
rosaries, prayer cards, bibles sometime, etc. So it would be very helpful for
our people if they are given rosaries to pray to Our Lady. Kindly help us.

The Fathers do a great deal of work, they train priests, run schools, technical schools, Parishes and have a centre for Carmelite spirituality. Rosaries, Crucifixes and medal would be appreciated.

DEAR FRIEND AND DONORS
First of all take my prayerful greetings and best wishes. Fr. Mark Andrew Khongjee of the Archdiocese of Shillong, Meghalaya, India. I am working in the seminary. I go also to the villages for Holy Mass on Sundays. We have 80 boys in the seminary. I take care 5 villages consisting of about 3000 families. I am a poor diocesan priest. Our people also are very poor. We are known as Khasi tribal people. Our people are very religious. They have great devotion to Our Blessed Mother Mary. People come to me and ask for scapulars and rosaries. They wanted to wear them on their neck. We cannot buy ROSARIES as we are all poor people.
Dear precious friend at ROSARY MAKING and gracious donors, I am writing requesting to you to ask whether it would be possible for you to provide free ROSARIES for me. The ROSARIES which you are going to send to me I will give them to the people so that they can pray and wear on their neck and express their faith externally. We believe in the power of the ROSARIES. We want to pray for peace in the world. Your willingness to help out wherever there is a need is greatly appreciated even if you do not know us personally.
On the days when it seems like all hope is lost; On the days when we find ourselves struggling with the most simple things in life; In these days we found a ray of light in you my friend: good, caring and thoughtful that you are. It is wonderful that you would never ignore the cries for help of anyone and that you are attuned to the concerns of even the smallest individuals who are struggling to survive.
